Rizal Park Redevelopment

From 2012-2014 PGAA was retained by the Department of Tourism and the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) to prepare a master plan for the 58-hectare Rizal park. The master plan included suggestions for the park's interface with the surrounding areas in Malate, Intramuros and Arroceros; with suggestions to connect even across the Pasig River to Binondo, Santa Cruz and Quiapo via new pedestrian bridges. Pedestrian bridges were also suggested between the park and Intramuros over P. Burgos Drive and across to Plaza Salamanca and the United Nations LRT Station.  PGAA Creative Design also prepared detailed urban design and landscape architectural plans for the Independence Plaza and area around the Rizal Monument, the Philippine Relief Map, the Halamanang Pilipino, the Noli Garden, and the Rizal Park Visitors Center.
